The City

Woke up at 12pm today. Decided to go around this new place to have a look since it's a Saturday. Wei Men came over at 12.45 and off we go, to discover the city of Melbourne!

Haha. I am quite familiar with the city now. Cos i walk everyday, but i only know how to walk! i do not know how to take the tram. So i brought weimen around, the good thing is that we managed to take pictures of buildings whenever we like. but as u're discovering new things, u won't know how far u have already walked or how far is the destination u're heading to! that's the fun of discovering and exploring. To be honest, we have no exact destination. Yarra river perhaps? XD

As we walked along the streets of Melbourne, we were enjoying ourselves. HAHA. Opps, we had lunch at chinatown first, then we started our journey. Forgot about the lunch part. hehe. Once we reached Yarra river, we were simply amazed by the beauty of the river. It was magnificent. we couldn't help it but kept on walking and walking. We didn't care about the risk of getting lost. *I AM LOST IN MELBOURNE!* aww, not at all! walked past 4 bridges, each of them have their own design and specialty. so interesting. Saw Batman Park on the sign, wanted to go there, but i was too tired by then. so we ended up in Enterprize Park with strange native polls. How interesting. We walked back slowly after that, taking another route so that we can explore more into the heart of the city. :]

Went home for a short rest after that, krisson & alex called me and asked me out for dinner. Met up with Ee Xin, Aun Shiang, Wei Men, Krisson and Alex. We had dinner at some ferarri restaurant at Lygon Street. XD Lygon Street is Alex's street btw. haha. it's a very lively street with all the Italian restaurants around. As i said, it's an italian place, so all those expensive Italian sport cars can be seen here. So nice. Alex, Krisson and weimen are friends that i know since the beginning of high school. While Ee Xin is my childhood friend! haha, too bad she didn't bring her otter BF along. if not..... *grins

We had ice cream at belati after that. It was nice and we decided to walk down to the city to have a view of the city's night life. Walked to Flinders and went to the Crown after that. Managed to take a picture of the world's second best night scene! it was really awesome. the Crown is a 6 stared hotel with all the high end shops, casinos, night clubs, cinemas, arcades and basically it's a hotel and a very interesting place to hang out. Took a tram back home. too tired to walk back.

Well, really enjoyed my day but i am so tired after walking for such a long distance. From the afternoon till night. So tired. But the pictures prove it's all worth it. :D
